Purchase Specialist – MRO & Operations

About the role

Kimirica Hunter International is seeking a Procurement Executive to lead day‑to‑day purchasing for MRO, engineering spares, consumables, services, IT, and other indirect categories. The role ensures timely procurement, effective vendor management, competitive terms, and smooth execution of the full Procure‑to‑Pay cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of MRO items, engineering spares, tools, safety equipment, and maintenance‑related materials.
• Handle office, admin, IT, and service purchases, issuing RFQs, collecting quotations, and preparing comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, issue purchase orders, and follow up with suppliers for on‑time delivery.
• Oversee the entire Procure‑to‑Pay process from requisition to invoice verification and payment coordination.
• Maintain vendor database, evaluate performance, and develop alternate suppliers for critical needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, avoid duplicate purchases, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in supply chain, operations, or procurement preferred.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
