Purchase Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Purchase Manager to lead the procurement function for our operations in India. The role will work closely with the MS India cross‑functional team and global purchasing groups to source external goods and services strategically, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes for direct and indirect purchases.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate with local suppliers, drive productivity improvement projects and monitor QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance.
• Support supply‑chain planning, monitor supplier delivery, and ensure timely fulfillment of purchase orders.
• Collaborate with quality management and other functions on supplier qualification, evaluation and development.
• Prepare purchasing reports, MIS dashboards and data analysis for the department.
• Ensure adherence to purchasing policies, procedures and compliance requirements.

• Detail‑oriented, analytical and organized professional.
• Proven experience in global sourcing and P2P operations, handling both direct and indirect spend.
• Ability to work independently on value‑engineering projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
