Purchase Executive – Procurement (Automotive Ancillary)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Purchase Executive to lead procurement activities for our plastic manufacturing operations within the automotive ancillary sector. The role reports to the Purchase Manager and is critical for sourcing raw materials, managing suppliers, and driving cost efficiencies.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling in line with production schedules.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end‑to‑end procurement alignment.
• Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting.

Required profile

• MBA in Operations Management (mandatory).
• 3–4 years of hands‑on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and vendor management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience using reporting tools for data analysis.
