Purchase Executive – Packing Materials (PwD)

About the role

The Purchase Executive will manage the procurement of packing materials, ensuring timely purchase orders, vendor compliance and uninterrupted production. The role is open exclusively to candidates with disabilities who can work independently.

Key responsibilities

• Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders, including manual POs, and ensure release from authority.
• Monitor vendor commitments, track on‑time deliveries and escalate any deviations.
• Maintain price change records, master data in the procurement system and vendor portal compliance.
• Support the Purchase Manager with quarterly costing, MIS preparation and inventory planning.
• Handle quality rejections, CAPA closures and debit/credit note processing in SAP.
• Generate monthly vendor performance reports and coordinate with finance, taxation and logistics on payments and waybill issues.
• Ensure compliance with purchase guidelines, data capture in QR and disposal of slow‑moving or rejected stock.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration or a related field; MBA or M.Com in supply chain/operations is a plus.
• Basic commercial knowledge and ability to work independently without tool support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external coordination.
• Effective time‑management and ability to meet KPI targets.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor management.
