About the role
We are seeking a proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for marine and operational needs. The role involves coordinating with vendors, evaluating quotations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Key responsibilities
- Handle procurement and purchase coordination activities.
- Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Verify pricing, vendor references, and delivery commitments.
- Assist senior management in vendor selection decisions.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials and services.
- Visit vendors within Mumbai as required.
- Maintain purchase records and procurement documentation.
- Support urgent operational procurement requirements when needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchase functions.
- Experience in marine, engineering, logistics, or industrial procurement preferred.
- Strong negotiation and bargaining skills.
- Logical, ethical, and team‑oriented approach.
- Good coordination and documentation abilities.
