Purchase Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Purchase Executive to lead procurement activities for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. The role focuses on sourcing raw materials, packaging, and consumables while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Procure pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging, and consumables.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and reliability.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate terms, and prepare comparative statements.
• Create, issue, and follow up on purchase orders (POs).
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve delays, quality issues, or shortages.
• Liaise with Stores, Production, Planning, QA/QC, Accounts and other departments for material requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor files, and MIS reports in ERP/Excel.
• Support export orders by ensuring critical materials are available as per production and dispatch timelines.

Required profile

• Female candidates with 2‑6 years of pharmaceutical procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Pharmacy or related field.
• Strong knowledge of vendor management, negotiation, and purchase order processing.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
