Public Relations Manager

About the role

Torque Communications is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join its Bangalore office. You will work directly with B2C clients across lifestyle, fashion, e‑commerce and FinTech sectors, helping shape and protect their brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage PR pipelines, timelines and deliverables for multiple clients.
• Develop and execute crisis communication strategies.
• Research story angles based on briefs from subject‑matter experts.
• Edit and proofread client content to match brand voice and style.
• Coordinate media responses, source spokesperson quotes and handle media queries.
• Plan and execute PR events, monitor coverage and maintain media databases.
• Generate innovative ideas for content and PR activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in a communications or PR role.
• Strong writing, editing and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Experience handling crisis situations and client servicing.
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members.
• Energetic, creative and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
