Public Relations Manager

About the role

The Public Relations Manager will join One Up Consulting’s Mumbai office to lead the development and execution of PR strategies that boost the firm’s brand visibility and reputation across media and industry channels. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with leadership and internal teams to ensure consistent, compelling messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and talking points.
• Manage media outreach, coordinate interviews, and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and KOLs.
• Plan and execute PR events, product launches, and brand initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze media coverage to refine future communication strategies.
• Support senior leadership with presentations, speeches, and crisis communication.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align messaging across all channels.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably within a PR agency.
• Proven track record working with luxury brands in fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or related premium categories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling brand narratives.
• Established network of contacts in press, media, and influencer circles.
• Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and premium brand positioning.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
