Public Relations Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Public Relations Account Executive to support media relations, client servicing, content development, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a PR agency, strong media relationships, and a passion for storytelling and brand communications.

Key responsibilities

• Execute PR campaigns across multiple client accounts and develop communication strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and other media professionals.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, bylines, award entries and other communication materials.
• Conduct media outreach, secure coverage, and prepare media monitoring reports.
• Coordinate interviews, press interactions, media briefings and events.
• Track industry trends, competitor activities and relevant news.
• Collaborate with internal digital, design and content teams for integrated campaigns.
• Maintain accurate media databases and reporting documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a public relations agency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
• Strong media relations and pitching abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Strong organizational and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills
