Protective Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Protective Security Consultant to lead security‑by‑design and infrastructure protection projects for critical infrastructure. The role involves conducting risk assessments, developing security master plans, and delivering technical design specifications while coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Security‑by‑Design (SBD) and Infrastructure Protection Act (IPA) compliance work, preparing reports and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct Threat Vulnerability and Risk Assessments (TVRA) and produce risk registers.
• Develop physical and electronic security concepts, including CCTV, access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter barriers.
• Integrate electronic security systems with building management systems and review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings for security integration.
• Provide strategic advisory, policy writing, and compliance audits for security operations and personnel security.
• Manage project documentation, coordinate with architects, engineers, vendors, and support tender evaluations.

Required profile

• Degree in Security Management, Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in physical security, building design, facilities operations or security technology.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) preferred.
