Project Purchasing Engineer / Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic professional to lead component and part development, vendor management and strategic sourcing for mechanical components, machinery building and sub‑assemblies. The role combines technical expertise with cost optimisation and quality assurance to support our industrial automation portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new part development (NPD), casting, machining and forging projects.
• Drive cost negotiation, zero‑based costing and request‑for‑quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Develop and qualify suppliers, conduct techno‑commercial evaluations and select partners.
• Coordinate with central purchasing, material teams and project stakeholders.
• Ensure achievement of quality, cost and delivery targets across all projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in component/part development and vendor development.
• Strong background in cost negotiation, zero‑based costing and strategic sourcing.
• Ability to manage programs, projects and quality initiatives for mechanical products.
• Hands‑on knowledge of casting, machining and forging processes.
