Project Manager – VM Brakes Software PCM (Indian OEM)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development, integration and delivery of software and hardware components for VM brake applications within an Indian OEM environment. The role is based in Pune and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and external OEM partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage development, integration and delivery of software, hardware, HU calibration and applications for VM brake projects.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure component requirements, design, implementation and testing are completed on schedule.
• Track progress, identify risks and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure component compliance with project standards, quality requirements and industry regulations.
• Support configuration management and version control for software components.
• Communicate status, risks and dependencies to stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate reviews, audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Define and prioritize product features, requirements and user stories based on stakeholder input.
• Maintain and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams, communicating product vision and roadmap.
• Coordinate with OEM and Bosch teams to ensure smooth releases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project or product management within automotive or embedded software domains.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex technical projects.
