Project Manager – STP & Sewage Network

About the role

Desire Energy Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of a 3 MLD sewage treatment plant (STP) and an approximately 64 km sewage network in Bhinmal, Rajasthan. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from detailed planning and civil/electromechanical works to installation, commissioning, and hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project execution plans, schedules and milestones for the STP and sewage network.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and pipeline activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and BOQs.
• Supervise the construction of the 64 km sewage collection system, including pipeline laying, manhole construction, pumping arrangements and road restoration.
• Lead the construction and installation of the 3 MLD STP, overseeing civil works, mechanical equipment (pumps, screens, blowers, mixers, clarifiers, sludge‑handling systems) and electrical/automation systems.
• Manage contractor performance, quality control, safety standards, documentation and client coordination.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly progress, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Review and resolve technical issues, ensure proper alignment, gradients and hydraulic requirements, and coordinate with local authorities.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of experience in project management of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale civil, mechanical and electrical works.
• Experience with sewage network construction and STP installation/commissioning.
• Strong contractor management, quality and safety oversight skills.
• Ability to work on‑site in Bhinmal, Rajasthan and coordinate with local authorities.
