Project Manager – Residential Interior Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager to take end‑to‑end ownership of residential interior projects at Mustard Design Studio. The role combines strong project management, on‑site coordination and operational rigor to deliver projects on time, on budget and to studio standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple residential projects from execution through completion and handover.
• Drive project timelines, milestones, site progress, quality and overall delivery.
• Maintain regular on‑site visibility and proactively address execution challenges.
• Coordinate closely with design team, site teams, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
• Identify risks, dependencies and bottlenecks early and drive them to resolution.
• Ensure design intent, project requirements and execution standards are maintained on site.
• Build and implement SOPs, workflows, checklists and reporting systems.
• Create visibility across project timelines, priorities, dependencies and pending actions.
• Standardise recurring processes to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Strengthen coordination and accountability across internal teams, contractors and vendors.
• Review existing ways of working, identify operational gaps and implement improvements.
• Work with leadership on project planning, escalations and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in project management, interior design, architecture or residential project execution.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple residential projects and sites.
• Strong understanding of interior execution, contractors, vendors, materials and project timelines.
• Excellent planning, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience building or improving processes, SOPs and project management systems.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable taking complete ownership.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across design and execution teams.
• Hands‑on, structured and solutions‑oriented approach to project delivery.
