Project Manager – Rail Mobility Solutions

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key rail mobility projects. Based in Nashik, you will work closely with internal teams, headquarters, and external partners to deliver high‑quality, on‑time, and cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope with stakeholders and create detailed work plans and schedules.
• Monitor timeline, cost, quality, and KPIs such as CAPEX, OPEX, and target cost index.
• Collaborate with headquarters and cross‑functional teams to ensure execution excellence.
• Identify and manage critical paths in supply chain, capacity, and localization.
• Act as the bridge between technical teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Assess risks, implement mitigation measures, and raise early alerts to management.
• Make make‑or‑buy decisions based on cost, capacity, and technology analysis.
• Lead oPLM (Product Lifecycle Management) process implementation.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree.
• 10–15 years of project management experience, preferably in traction motor or gearbox engineering.
• Strong communication skills in English and at least B2 level German.
• Proven ability to work with multicultural teams, especially in Germany and the USA.
