Project Manager

About the role

Lubrizol is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑priority initiatives across its global businesses. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee top‑priority projects, ensuring successful execution and completion.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, R&D, IT, supply chain, procurement and other functions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, resources and risk management.
• Coordinate activities, monitor progress, and enforce timelines and milestones.
• Identify, mitigate and resolve project risks and issues proactively.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Promote a collaborative, results‑oriented project management culture.
• Stay current on industry trends and best‑practice methodologies.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a multinational business environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a technical field.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) and at least 2 years of direct project leadership experience.
• Proven track record managing complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic setting.

Required skills

• Experience with project planning tools such as Planview, ServiceNow PPM or MS Project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
