Project Manager – EPC/EPS Projects

About the role

Valmet is looking for a Project Manager to lead and manage EPC/EPS projects that address identified business needs. The role involves delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards for customers in the pulp, energy and circularity business area.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, lead and control resources to meet contractual and financial objectives of customer delivery projects.
• Manage projects longer than 12 months or multiple shorter projects with moderate business impact.
• Control and minimise risks and cost uncertainty to ensure predictable financial results.
• Represent Valmet at the customer interface, maintaining strong relationships while protecting company interests.
• Oversee project resourcing, drive forward‑looking project management and enforce HSE and quality procedures.
• Support sales on project and contract matters and maintain customer relationships during execution.

Required profile

• University Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• 8‑12 years of relevant experience in global EPC/EPS project execution within a multinational, matrix organisation.
• Strong financial mindset with contract and claim management expertise.
• Proven leadership, team management and influencing skills.
• Effective communication and presentation abilities in English and willingness to travel as needed.
