Project Manager – Construction (Cochin)

About the role

The Project Manager will be based on‑site in Cochin, leading the planning, execution and delivery of construction projects for POTENTIAL PROJECT MANAGERS (P) LTD. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to define scope, schedule and budget while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project lifecycle from initiation to handover, managing scope, schedule and budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to align project objectives.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and lead regular review meetings.
• Expedite procurement, approvals, inspections and material deliveries to keep the project on track.
• Track logistics, site activities and review technical documentation.
• Prepare status reports and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Promote safety practices and maintain clear communication with all parties.

Required profile

• Hotel or similar construction project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Advanced project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets and contracts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
