Project Manager (Civil Infrastructure Design Projects)

About the role

The Project Manager will lead civil infrastructure design projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role combines project planning, cost control, and stakeholder management to optimise project performance.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for project planning and project cost control.
• Prepare Accepted Cost Estimate (ACE) and Job Cost Report (JCR) and maintain the project bottom line.
• Develop and monitor project budget, cost framework and variance analysis.
• Review project schedule, monitor progress and take corrective actions.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and implement cost‑control initiatives.
• Plan and allocate resources according to the project schedule, monitor productivity and optimise usage.
• Review, approve and finalise subcontractors/vendors within ACE limits.
• Prepare progress presentations and monthly MIS reports for management.
• Raise variation and extended‑stay claims to the client.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and contracts, with knowledge of FIDIC standards.
• Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline; M‑Tech with postgraduate study in project management preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing civil infrastructure design projects.
• Proven experience in project budgeting, cost framework development and variance analysis.
