Project Engineer – Solar Projects

About the role

Candi Solar is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to drive the execution of commercial and industrial solar projects across emerging markets. You will work closely with EPC partners, clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate handover from Project Development after contract signing and review EPC plans, designs, timelines and budgets.
• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting and execution, and monitor progress from mobilisation through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Conduct site surveys and regular visits to track site conditions, quality, safety and schedule adherence.
• Identify risks, delays or quality issues, drive corrective actions and manage snag lists to closure.
• Prepare detailed progress reports covering schedule, cost, quality, risks, safety and procurement.
• Assist with permitting, regulatory compliance, approvals and documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in solar project execution or project engineering.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to coordinate with EPC partners, clients, suppliers, DISCOMs and regulatory authorities.
• Strong capability to monitor schedules, budgets, quality and risk throughout project life‑cycle.
• Willingness to undertake regular on‑site visits and promote a strong safety culture.
