Project Engineer – Order Engineering Team

About the role

Join Flowserve’s Order Engineering team as a Project Engineer, responsible for turning customer orders into fully engineered solutions. You will coordinate resources, perform detailed mechanical design, and support the entire order lifecycle from quotation through warranty.

Key responsibilities

• Support proposal activities with pre‑engineering work, technical scope definition, risk analysis and equipment selection.
• Review project specifications and order transfer files.
• Perform detailed layout and mechanical design, including calculations and simulations.
• Act as primary technical interface for customers and internal functions.
• Coordinate engineering resources across multiple projects.
• Provide technical support to supply chain, reviewing vendor and buyout drawings.
• Assist production with deviations, waivers and specification guidance.
• Review quality plans and support commissioning and warranty activities.
• Validate technical documentation against customer requirements and suggest modifications.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project engineering.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Collaborative interpersonal abilities.
