Project Engineer – Delhi Career Fair

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Project Engineer to join its global project teams. The role involves planning and executing project scopes across multiple disciplines, ensuring smooth transitions between project stages and effective communication with site teams, management, and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project requirements with global business units and develop Project Management System deliverables.
• Participate in ITT development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Oversee engineering, execution planning, procurement, system completion, and start‑up activities.
• Steward contractor performance and align key stakeholders.
• Coordinate issue identification and resolution across sites and disciplines.

Required profile

• BS degree in an engineering discipline (CGPA ≥ 6.5).
• Minimum 3 years of experience executing capital projects, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, power, construction, or fertilizer sectors.
• Diverse project experience covering engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls.
• Exposure to at least two of: engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, brownfield execution, turnarounds, offshore installation, or international project management.
• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non‑technical audiences.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
