Project Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Project Architect to lead design development and construction documentation for a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, hospitality and healthcare projects in Manjeri, Kerala. The role offers full ownership from concept through construction, direct client interaction and the chance to mentor junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design development and produce construction documents from schematic design to completion.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants to resolve technical and code issues.
• Prepare and review drawing sets, specifications and detailing for accuracy and buildability.
• Manage day‑to‑day client communication and represent the firm in project meetings and site visits.
• Conduct site visits, review contractor submittals and RFIs, and perform construction administration.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, local regulations and accessibility standards.
• Mentor junior architects and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of professional architectural experience with demonstrated project leadership.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and construction detailing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Licensure or active pursuit of licensure is a plus.
