Program Manager – Academic Operations

About the role

The Program Manager at NIAT leads the execution of on‑campus academic programs, ensuring smooth coordination between teaching, student services, and operational logistics. This on‑site role directly influences student success and the overall learning experience by combining execution excellence with strategic stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery of classes, labs, assessments and campus events in line with the academic calendar.
• Coordinate with mentors, BOAs and internal teams to maintain consistent operational flow across student batches.
• Partner with academic and student‑success teams to monitor progress, intervene with at‑risk learners and resolve student issues promptly.
• Monitor classroom quality, mentor effectiveness and student engagement, gathering feedback to improve teaching methods and academic planning.
• Lead campus initiatives such as community events, branding activities and academic showcases.
• Collaborate with placement and training teams to run workshops, mock interviews and skill‑building sessions.
• Build relationships with local industry professionals and alumni to support internships and placement processes.
• Maintain accurate reports, dashboards and trackers; provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks and improvement areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Proven ability to manage operations in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Adaptability, resilience and a student‑centric attitude.
