Program Manager – Academic Operations

About the role

The Program Manager at NIAT leads the execution of on‑campus academic programs, ensuring smooth coordination of classes, labs, assessments and events. This role blends operational ownership with student‑centric focus to drive high‑impact, industry‑relevant learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day execution of classes, labs, assessments and campus events in line with the academic calendar.
• Coordinate with academic mentors, BOAs and internal teams to maintain consistent operational flow across student batches.
• Partner with student success teams to monitor progress, intervene with at‑risk learners and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor classroom quality, mentor effectiveness and overall student engagement, gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
• Lead campus initiatives such as community events, branding activities and academic showcases.
• Collaborate with placement and training teams to run workshops, mock interviews and skill‑building sessions, and maintain industry and alumni relationships.
• Maintain accurate reports, dashboards and trackers on academic performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven experience managing operations in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
• Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Adaptability, resilience and a student‑centric attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel for data tracking and reporting.
