Program Director – Renewable Energy Programme

About the role

The Program Director provides executive leadership and overall PMC accountability for the integrated Solar, Wind and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) programme. The role ensures client recommendations are coordinated, evidence‑based, and aligned with contractual milestones while maintaining strong programme governance and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish programme governance structures, decision gates, escalation protocols and reporting cadence across all project packages.
• Lead PMC teams, drive executive‑level decision‑making and resolve cross‑package issues affecting COD, energisation, HOTO, safety and quality.
• Chair executive progress, risk and interface meetings with the client, utilities, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
• Review and endorse recovery plans, strategic change recommendations and ensure contractual compliance.
• Monitor programme performance against milestones, produce monthly executive reports and risk dashboards.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 + years of experience in large‑scale renewable energy programmes (solar, wind, BESS) with a Bachelor’s degree in Technology.
• Proven executive leadership, governance, stakeholder management and risk mitigation experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multi‑package infrastructure and EPC/PMC environments.
