About the role

The Professor of Computer Science will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in core computer science and related specializations. The role involves delivering lectures, supervising labs, guiding student projects, designing and updating curricula, conducting research, publishing scholarly work, and mentoring students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and supervise laboratory sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Design, develop, and continuously update course curricula and teaching materials.
• Guide student projects, theses, and research activities.
• Conduct original research, publish in reputable journals, and secure funded projects.
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees, accreditation, and quality‑assurance processes.
• Engage with industry partners and academic networks to enhance learning and research opportunities.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
• Demonstrated record of research publications, funded projects, or academic contributions.
• Prior teaching experience at the university level, familiar with Indian technical education regulations.
• Strong expertise in core Computer Science concepts and theoretical foundations.
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and engage with industry partners.
