About the role

The University seeks a dedicated Professor of Clinical Psychology to join its faculty in Jaipur. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise research, and contribute to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and lecture in clinical psychology courses, including seminars and practical sessions.
• Supervise dissertations, theses, and research projects for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Design, update, and enhance curricula to reflect evidence‑based practices and current professional standards.
• Conduct and publish scholarly research, seek external funding, and engage in academic collaborations.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to a diverse student body.
• Participate in departmental and university committees and contribute to community mental‑health outreach initiatives.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Proven university‑level teaching experience in clinical psychology, including lecturing and supervising theses.
• Strong record of peer‑reviewed publications and experience with funded or collaborative research projects.
• Expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy approaches, adhering to ethical standards.
• Ability to design curricula and integrate innovative, case‑based and experiential teaching methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring abilities.
• Eligibility for registration with relevant professional psychology bodies is an advantage.
