Professor – Computer Science & Engineering / Electronics & Communication

About the role

We are seeking a senior Professor to lead academic activities in Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The role combines teaching, research, curriculum development and industry partnership to drive excellence and innovation in engineering education.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses, develop and update curriculum, and design laboratory work, assignments and assessments using modern teaching methods and LMS platforms.
• Conduct high‑quality research in AI/ML, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, IoT, Blockchain, VLSI, Embedded Systems and Communication Technologies; publish in reputed journals and secure research funding.
• Lead curriculum design, accreditation initiatives and departmental strategic planning; mentor junior faculty and contribute to policy formulation.
• Guide students in academics, research, internships and career planning; provide academic counseling and support innovation and technical competitions.
• Build industry partnerships, promote internships, consultancy projects and collaborative research; organize workshops, seminars and faculty development programmes.
• Participate in departmental and university committees, support accreditation, admissions, placements and academic events, and contribute to institutional growth.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related discipline.
• Typically 15–20 years of academic and research experience at the professor level.
• Strong publication record and proven research achievements.
• Experience in academic administration and leadership roles.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
