Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead a team of operators and trainees to achieve KPI targets and fulfill customer orders in Bosch's hydraulic brake system production. You will be responsible for shift planning, line start‑up, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operators/trainees to meet production KPIs and order fulfilment.
• Plan and execute shifts, ensure adherence to control plans, SOPs and daily production schedules.
• Deploy and monitor manpower, maintain skill matrix and training records.
• Manage line start‑up, set‑up changes and 4M change management.
• Identify and implement safety, quality and productivity improvement projects (e.g., OEE, IDC rejection).
• Apply BPS concepts on the shop floor as directed by industrial engineers.
• Conduct daily rejection analysis, drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain 5S, health, safety and quality compliance.
• Perform machine troubleshooting, type change‑over and tool changes.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance, LPC and participate in Kaizen activities.
• Support cross‑functional teams (quality, purchase, logistics) during audits and NPD activities.

Required profile

• B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or Electrical engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in assembly processes.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
