Production Operator (Team Member)

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operator (Team Member) to assist with the adjustment, operation and supervision of machines at our Pune facility. The role focuses on ensuring quality, punctual order completion and safe machine handling.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, operate and supervise machines according to factory data collection (FDC or TSOP) and work instructions.
• Set up machines following the setup plan and perform quality controls as defined by TSOP.
• Monitor the technical state of equipment, report deviations, and commission corrective actions.
• Check safety installations, separate defective material, and conduct optical defect inspections.
• Record manufacturing and testing documentation accurately.
• Manage resources, auxiliary and residual materials, and ensure timely supply of tools.
• Comply with procedures defined in the function manual/IMS.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Plastic engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the automotive or chemical industry.
• Familiarity with Lean Production, 5S and PDCA methodologies.
• Knowledge of polymer processing is a plus.
