Production Operator

About the role

Gates Corporation is seeking a Production Operator to work according to production planning and meet customer demand. The role focuses on operating machinery safely, achieving productivity targets, and ensuring on‑time performance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and clean machines, complete daily machine check‑sheet before production starts.
• Execute production plans, record output details, and follow SOPs 100% during runs.
• Inspect material using precision tools and perform troubleshooting as issues arise.
• Maintain accurate records including production output sheets, SPC sheets, and machine setup approvals.
• Update shift logbooks and communicate daily production activity.
• Close production and quality issue points promptly.

Required profile

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to follow established procedures.
• Capability to work with multi‑discipline teams and support functions.
• Attention to detail for record‑keeping and quality control.
