Production & Maintenance Field Service Engineer

About the role

Otis India is looking for a Production & Maintenance Field Service Engineer to ensure safe, reliable operation of elevators and escalators across assigned routes. You will work directly with customers, delivering prompt service and building lasting relationships while upholding Otis’ high standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all EH&S guidelines and safety norms for equipment and end‑user protection.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, code updates, and repairs on elevator and escalator units.
• Achieve zero callbacks by delivering first‑time fixes and maintaining continuous equipment reliability.
• Generate and close service tickets (T leads) within agreed timelines.
• Communicate transparently with customers and build strong on‑site relationships.

Required profile

• ITI or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in elevator maintenance.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform repairs, and follow safety protocols.
