Production Incharge

About the role

The Production Incharge will lead micro‑level operations of a chemical production area, ensuring that daily targets are met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires close coordination with technology, utilities, safety, laboratory, and other support functions to keep the plant running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute production activities to meet specified output targets.
• Coordinate with Technology, Utility, Safety, Lab, ETP, Co‑gen, and TF departments for seamless plant operations.
• Monitor and optimize process parameters to improve yield and product quality.
• Enforce safety compliance according to ISO, HAZOP, HACCP and other relevant standards.
• Lead productivity improvement and debottlenecking projects.
• Provide on‑shop‑floor training to develop sub‑ordinate skills.
• Ensure finished‑product quality meets specifications.
• Maintain work‑permit procedures and oversee resource management (raw materials, utilities, etc.).

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in process‑driven manufacturing environments.
• Proven expertise in process optimization and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective teamwork and cross‑functional coordination skills.
