Production Head – Loose Furniture & Millwork

About the role

TIS Living is seeking an experienced Production Head to lead the end‑to‑end manufacturing of custom loose furniture and architectural millwork. You will oversee a skilled factory team, ensure technical feasibility of designs, and guarantee that every product meets the brand’s high quality and craftsmanship standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full production cycle for custom loose furniture, wardrobes, paneling, doors, and millwork.
• Plan and monitor production schedules, manpower, material usage, and project timelines.
• Lead production managers, supervisors, craftsmen and factory staff.
• Coordinate closely with Design, Draughting, Procurement, QC and Project teams.
• Review production drawings to confirm manufacturability.
• Identify and resolve issues related to production, materials, joinery, hardware and finishing.
• Conduct quality checks at multiple stages and before dispatch.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, finishing quality, workmanship and compliance with approved designs.
• Drive timely completion of multiple projects while maintaining quality.
• Continuously improve processes, productivity and quality standards.

Required profile

• 15+ years of hands‑on experience in furniture manufacturing.
• Proven background in both loose furniture and architectural millwork.
• Strong experience in custom/bespoke furniture for luxury residential projects.
• Deep knowledge of wood, veneer, laminates, finishes, upholstery, hardware, joinery and overall furniture construction.
• Hands‑on quality control and inspection expertise.
• Ability to read and interpret furniture production drawings.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
