Production Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Production Engineer to drive efficient manufacturing operations, ensure on‑time delivery and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly production plans, monitor output, and take corrective actions to meet schedule and OTIF targets.
• Optimize manpower, equipment, tooling and material usage while supporting line balancing and capacity planning.
• Develop and standardise manufacturing methods, conduct process capability, time and motion studies, and create process flow charts, SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead Kaizen, Lean, TPM, 5S and SMED initiatives to improve OEE, reduce waste and shorten changeover times.
• Ensure product quality through first‑piece approval, in‑process inspections and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor machine downtime and support new equipment installation.
• Promote safety compliance, conduct shop‑floor inspections and participate in incident investigations.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial or related field.
• Experience in production planning, process engineering and manufacturing improvement.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret production data and drive corrective actions.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with Planning, Quality, Stores and Maintenance teams.
