Production Chemist (2-7 yrs experience)

About the role

Sami Sabinsa is seeking a Production Chemist to join its manufacturing unit in Dobaspet, Bangalore. The role involves overseeing daily production activities while ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day production operations in a GMP environment.
• Ensure all activities follow SOPs and proper documentation (BMR, TI Sheet).
• Coordinate with QA, QC, store, and maintenance teams to maintain smooth workflow.
• Work closely with operators to meet production targets and manage shift schedules.
• Report batch progress and any deviations to managers promptly.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in any specialization or B.Pharm in any specialization.
• 2 to 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical production.

Required skills

• Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
• Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Experience with Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR) documentation.
• Understanding of Technical Instruction (TI) Sheets.
• Shift planning and production shift management.
