Product Manager – SAP Authorization

About the role

BASF Digital Hub Hyderabad is looking for a Product Manager to lead SAP Authorization across the global SAP landscape. You will be part of a global leadership team responsible for ensuring business continuity and operational excellence of BASF’s S/4 transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SAP authorization implementation and support for projects worldwide, acting as the primary contact for audit assessments.
• Drive continuous improvement of S/4 operational processes, leveraging AI where beneficial and promoting radical standardisation.
• Develop internal expertise and ensure long‑term operational excellence across the S/4 solution landscape.
• Contribute to organisational development and act as an active member of the forward‑looking leadership team.
• Collaborate on cross‑SAP topics such as test & release management, deployment, and SAP development management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SAP environments, preferably with S/4HANA and authorization concepts.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a global, multicultural team.
• Experience with audit and compliance processes related to SAP.
• Ability to drive innovation and standardisation across complex SAP landscapes.
