Product Management Apprentice

About the role

We are looking for a high‑potential Product Management Apprentice to join Five9’s product team working on next‑generation Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platforms. The role offers hands‑on exposure to AI‑driven customer‑experience technologies and modern cloud‑native architectures in a fast‑growing SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support product discovery by researching customer problems across inbound/outbound campaigns, agent experience, AI automation, analytics, quality and workforce management.
• Assist in market analysis of CCaaS, AI in CX and cloud communications to help shape product vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams on speech‑to‑text, NLP, LLMs, conversation intelligence and predictive analytics features.
• Create product requirement documents, user stories and acceptance criteria and work with engineering using Agile/Scrum practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, feature demos, UAT coordination and release readiness activities.
• Engage with customers, usability sessions and beta programs to capture feedback and validate product direction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in product management, SaaS platforms, AI technologies and cloud computing.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts, APIs and web technologies.

Required skills

• AI/ML concepts (speech‑to‑text, NLP, LLMs, predictive analytics).
• APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Cloud‑native, multi‑tenant SaaS platforms.
• Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM integration.
