Product Designer – AI Video Security Platform

About the role

As a Product Designer at Coram AI, you will create the end‑to‑end experience for an AI‑native video security platform used by security and operations teams to monitor, investigate, and respond to incidents. You will translate complex workflows such as live video, AI detections, and multi‑site operations into intuitive, high‑confidence product experiences, working closely with product managers, engineers, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design process from customer discovery and wireframing to high‑fidelity visual design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff.
• Design workflows for natural‑language video search, custom AI alert setup, interactive camera walls, and incident investigations.
• Streamline critical operations like multi‑site security oversight, role‑based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination.
• Build and maintain Coram AI’s UI component library and design system in Figma to ensure speed, accessibility, and visual consistency across desktop and mobile.
• Collaborate daily with product managers and front‑end/AI engineers in a fast‑paced, high‑ship‑velocity environment.

Required profile

• 5+ years of product or UX design experience building complex B2B SaaS platforms, data‑dense web applications, or AI tools.
• Proven ability to work independently in early‑stage or growth‑stage environments and deliver end‑to‑end design solutions with minimal guidance.
• Experience communicating directly with security operators, IT directors, and facility leaders to validate designs.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component architecture, autolayout, prototyping, and design‑system governance.
• Understanding of technical constraints around live‑video streams, real‑time telemetry, and AI detection models.
• Familiarity with front‑end code such as HTML, CSS, React, and Tailwind.
• Experience designing for high‑urgency, critical‑incident UI scenarios (e.g., dispatch centers, emergency response tools).
