About the role

Create and develop mechanical systems, components, and subassemblies for e‑machines. Design automotive components and systems from concept through production.

Key responsibilities

Develop mechanical designs for automotive components using Unigraphics NX CAD.
Design plastic, sheet metal, casting, and machined parts.
Apply GD&T principles and understand manufacturing processes.
Prepare and present designs at design reviews and support design teams.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation of designs.
Report progress to the Reporting Manager.
Create BOMs in SAP and Windchill.

Required profile

BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Machine Design.
2–5 years of experience in automotive product design.

Required skills

Unigraphics NX CAD (2D/3D modelling, assembly, drafting).
Windchill for BOM creation.
SAP for BOM management.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Knowledge of manufacturing processes for plastic, sheet metal, casting, and machined parts.
