Product Design Engineer – High‑Power Solutions

About the role

As a Product Design Engineer you will lead the creation of innovative high‑power connector solutions. Based in Bengaluru, you will work with a dedicated team to turn concepts into reliable products that meet performance, quality and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑power products using advanced engineering principles and NX CAD.
• Manage NOD, MOD and TSP projects from feasibility studies through validation and performance testing.
• Create detailed 3D models, technical drawings and documentation, applying GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Lead design reviews, provide feedback and ensure smooth hand‑over to manufacturing with Design for Manufacturing practices.
• Conduct risk assessments such as DFMEA and drive continuous improvement to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of product design experience in any industry.
• Proficiency with NX CAD for design and drafting.
• Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, new product development tools and processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
