Procurement & Supply Chain Consultant

About the role

This consulting position focuses on procurement, supply chain, and analytics for global clients. Based in India with remote‑first flexibility, you will help organisations optimise sourcing, spend management and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements on procurement and supply‑chain transformation projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Conduct spend analysis, strategic sourcing, forecasting, consolidation and other optimisation activities.
• Manage a team of 8‑10 analysts, overseeing performance, governance and workload coordination.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Communicate project scope, objectives and updates clearly to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor analysts on methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Develop data‑driven insights and storytelling, including TCO and Should‑Cost modelling.
• Support RFx processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations and benchmarking.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or consulting, preferably in large or global organisations.
• Strong analytical thinking, adaptability and ability to work under ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience in procurement assessments, supplier research and report writing.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, charts, financial modelling)
• PowerPoint for presentation development
• Experience with Procure‑to‑Pay platforms such as Ariba or Coupa
• Data analysis and modelling capabilities
