Procurement Specialist I

About the role

The Procurement Specialist I will manage end‑to‑end sourcing and purchasing for IT hardware, software licenses, and general office supplies. The role ensures timely delivery, cost‑effectiveness, and compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement for laptops, servers, networking equipment, software licenses and office services.
• Coordinate with internal departments to capture needs, budgets and approval processes.
• Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with approved vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and service‑level agreements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date vendor database and accurate purchase records.
• Process purchase orders, request quotations and manage vendor agreements.
• Monitor market trends and benchmark pricing to uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Track key performance indicators related to procurement efficiency and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with finance, IT and operations teams to align purchasing decisions with organizational objectives.
• Generate regular reports on procurement status, budgets and vendor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in IT and general procurement.
• Ability to collaborate with overseas stakeholders across time zones.
• Supply‑chain certifications are an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) systems.
• Experience in IT hardware and software procurement.
