Procurement & SCM Lead

About the role

AECOM is looking for an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Management Lead to oversee procurement, manufacturing, logistics and delivery for a large‑scale hybrid renewable‑energy programme. The role ensures end‑to‑end supply‑chain visibility, identifies critical‑path risks and drives mitigation actions to support programme delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain consolidated programme‑wide visibility of procurement, manufacturing, factory acceptance testing, inspection, dispatch and delivery activities.
• Develop and maintain supply‑chain reporting frameworks, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Identify long‑lead equipment and critical‑path supply‑chain risks and devise mitigation and recovery strategies.
• Coordinate expediting, logistics, customs clearance and site‑delivery performance across packages, contractors and OEMs.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement status, delivery performance and key risks for programme leadership and the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in procurement, supply‑chain management or logistics on large‑scale infrastructure or renewable‑energy projects.
• Proven experience managing critical equipment procurement and international logistics.
• Experience with EPC, OEM and contractor management environments.

• Supply chain risk assessment and mitigation.
• Manufacturing, FAT and inspection coordination.
• Advanced proficiency in project controls and reporting systems.
