Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead end‑to‑end purchasing activities for Anandha Inn Convention Centre, ensuring that all goods and services required for hotel and convention operations are sourced efficiently, cost‑effectively, and on time. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with multiple departments to support seamless guest experiences and event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Identify procurement needs across Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Events.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Issue and monitor purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels.
• Maintain procurement records, budgets, and compliance with quality, safety, and cost standards.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of operational requirements.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory procurement practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience in procurement, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Analytical ability to assess costs, monitor spend, and support data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal departments and external vendors.
• Relevant experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or facilities management is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or equivalent practical experience.
