Procurement Manager

About the role

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead the development and maintenance of its third‑party parts catalog, supplier lists, and specifications. The role oversees a team of procurement professionals and drives strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own the third‑party parts catalog, including part numbers, descriptions, attributes, images, supersessions, and cross‑references.
• Establish and maintain a global approved supplier list with region, capability, and qualification status.
• Govern supplier specifications, keep them version‑controlled, and drive standardization for dual‑sourcing.
• Maintain supplier master data and the Plan For Every Part (PFEP) for each SKU.
• Lead a team of intermediate to experienced procurement professionals, setting objectives and guiding RFPs, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability.
• Review prices, manufacturing processes, and contracts; recommend changes to ensure successful procurement.
• Authorize purchase orders, negotiate prices, and approve payments.
• Analyze and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify needed adjustments.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge in leading and managing execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a work area.
• Broad knowledge within a specific technical or professional discipline and understanding of its impact on other organizational areas.
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant procurement or supply‑chain experience.
