Procurement Executive

About the role

The Procurement Executive will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for fastener components, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with technical specifications. This role works closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support production and customer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Review material requirements, create and process purchase orders with accurate part numbers, quantities, prices and delivery terms.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of fasteners (bolts, screws, nuts, washers, studs, rivets, cable ties, threaded rods) and associated standards such as DIN, ISO, ASTM, ANSI and JIS.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, manage quotations, lead times, MOQ, payment terms and performance records.
• Conduct cost analysis, monitor price changes and support cost‑saving initiatives while ensuring PO prices match approved quotations.
• Track supplier commitments, monitor ETD/ETA, provide status updates and expedite critical shipments.
• Coordinate quality documentation, inspection reports and corrective actions to meet customer specifications.
• Manage inventory levels, forecast demand and collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Prepare accurate reporting and documentation for procurement activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and purchase order management.
• Strong knowledge of fastener products and relevant industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms and maintain performance records.
• Experience in cost analysis, budgeting and implementing cost‑reduction measures.
• Ability to coordinate delivery schedules, handle escalations and ensure material availability.
• Familiarity with quality compliance processes and documentation requirements.
• Effective collaboration with internal teams such as warehouse, sales and quality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fastener types, material grades, dimensions and thread specifications.
• Familiarity with standards: DIN, ISO, ASTM, ANSI, JIS.
