Procurement Engineer / Executive – Sanand

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Engineer / Executive to join our Sanand facility. In this role you will drive sourcing initiatives for key raw materials, ensure cost‑effective procurement and maintain high quality standards to support production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead import vendor sourcing initiatives for critical raw materials.
• Coordinate with the purchase team and global mentors on supplier creation and maintain SA info records.
• Set up and manage EDI/ASN processes and resolve related errors.
• Oversee freight portal entries, approvals and premium freight handling.
• Manage transport and forwarder arrangements, including customs clearance and compliance.
• Monitor vendor order status, delivery performance and provide daily reporting.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of material planning and procurement functions.
• Experience in vendor sourcing, supplier management and import logistics.
• Ability to troubleshoot process errors and drive timely escalations.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
