Procurement Compliance Officer (Open to Persons with Disability)

About the role

The Procurement Compliance Officer will lead compliance initiatives across the procurement function, ensuring adherence to industry and government regulations. This role focuses on building robust internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement, with a special emphasis on supporting candidates with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and enforce compliance programs, policies and procedures for procurement activities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerable areas and develop preventative controls.
• Analyze non‑compliance incidents, recommend corrective actions and monitor remediation.
• Support internal and external audits, prepare reports and maintain audit trails.
• Develop and maintain risk detection dashboards to flag high‑risk transactions.
• Deliver training on compliance standards to procurement teams, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Perform third‑party due diligence, including sanction screening and reputational checks.
• Collaborate with corporate functions and external partners to ensure supplier accountability and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree.
• Experience in fraud prevention, internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and related regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to conduct audits, risk assessments and develop corrective action plans.
